As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to support families facing food insecurity, connect with like-minded people, and develop skills that last a lifetime. What it Takes to Volunteer With SEVA

What to Expect

  • When: Held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month – Registration is required
    Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Location: Seva Food Bank, 2832 Slough Street, Mississauga
  • Activities include: Adults & children 12+: Shelf stocking and sorting food
  • Children under 12: Packing smaller items, crafts, and snack time in our Activity Corner
  • A short tour and learning moment about Seva’s work in the community

How to Participate

Select a preferred date (spaces are limited)

Step 3:

Attend and enjoy a meaningful day of service with your loved ones!

 Nope! We provide all supplies and snacks for kids but we welcome any food donations.

Absolutely! As long as at least one adult is present per family unit.

All ages are welcome, with supervised activities for young children.

Yes, but we give priority to families who haven’t yet participated. Email us to cancel if your plans changed in order to allow for another family to participate from the waiting list.
